Made with 12.5oz selvedge black denim woven on an old-style shuttle loom.
Both warp and weft threads use straight yarn, and the warp threads are rope-dyed four times, dyed to a deep blue-toned black rather than reddish.
The fabric has a unique fullness and roughness, allowing for a vintage look to develop with wear and washing.
The details of the 1922 501XX are followed, such as suspender buttons, cinch back, and exposed rivets.
Only the crotch rivets have been removed for a cleaner look.
